Today’s kaddish a duet for horn and chocolate lab, in my take on a cajun accordion.
Today my collaborator visits the grave of voodoo great Marie Laveau in New Orleans. If I’ve gotten this up in time, Mira will play Marie’s kaddish for her on her iPhone.
Yes, I realize Laveau is Creole, and Cajun is not Creole. Do not quibble with me. Squint a little and go with it.
So glad to have ProTools back in business! When I was bouncing the aiff for archive and the tiny mp3 for you, I couldn’t tell if it was Kjersti barking for real outside my headphones or in the recording unless I was looking at her. She got to barking during the bounce, too, and it was a trio for horn and two chocolate labs in my headphones. Wild!
