Today’s Kaddish is in honor of Mira’s longtime friend Lori Goldwyn’s mother, Ruth Leavitt Kadish. Lori wrote a yizkor for her mom a few weeks ago, and it was my honor to record today’s kaddish for both of them.
I was particularly struck by Lori’s sense that her mother was watching over her to the end, even as she sank into dementia; it seemed to me that perhaps she continues to look over her even now. So, if you are, Ms Kadish: gud shabbes!
