It started a number of years ago in time for him to read sections of the unfinished manuscript \u2014 especially Part II\u00a0which is inspired by his travels with Reb K (of blessed memory), \u00a0his travels with both of us at his side, and his travels with me alone. \u00a0But make no mistake: this is no memoir, it is a\u00a0<em>tale<\/em>. And a tale is the only way this story can be\u00a0told.<\/p>\n<p>What differs, then between \u2018the rebbe\u2019s queer daughters\u2019 and \u2018tzaddik stories\u2019 is that the latter consists primarily of memories, while the former consists of (<em>hm, what shall we call them?<\/em>) (I guess we should call them) dreams. Perhaps that\u2019s all that needs saying.<\/p>\n<p>As you know if you&#8217;ve been following our &#8216;progress&#8217; at kaddish in two-part harmony, not long ago I found myself \u00a0<a title=\"I\u2019m all kaddished-out, she said\u2026 \u2014 the real secret of mourning rituals\u2026\" href=\"https:\/\/beitmalkhut.org\/?p=3491\" target=\"_blank\">all kaddished-out<\/a>\u00a0before our kaddish year has come to its close. \u00a0And what remains to be told is only this \u2014 the tale of the rebbe\u2019s queer daughters.
