My friend Bradley lost her mom this spring, and today she shared a touching picture of her mom on Facebook. I was thinking about her tonight while recording the daily kaddish—another backstage recording, but this time I finally got the soft-clipping turned off so it sounds like I have dynamics again.

It was actually my favorite aunt, Rose, my “second mother” who passed away last Spring. My Mom has been gone, but never forgotten, 14 years. Two beautiful and wise women. Thank you for this moving tribute, Erin. Thank you for thinking of them and of me.
