daily kaddish: for the Iraq War

Play

President Obama said US troops would finally exit Iraq, by the end of this year.

Clearly this quagmire is far from over—we have yet to hear anything about troops leaving Afghanistan, and the announcement that we’d have troop buildups around the Gulf never seem to get the same kind of attention as the “we’re done here” announcements that they negate—but this is something.

A kaddish for the Iraq War, and may it rest in actual peace.
